Head Huggers-- Do you knit? Crochet? Sew? Would you like to use this skill to help someone who has undergone chemotherapy or other hair loss? I am embarking on a project to do just that, and would like to invite you to join me.

Artists Helping Children-- A nonprofit org that provides sick and needy children with free art supplies, stuffed animals, and murals for free. Currently needed are creative knitters, sewers, and crocheters.

Project Linus-- We are a non-profit organization that makes hand-made blankets and quilts. These are then distributed to children of all ages in need.

Angel Hugs-- A non-profit volunteer charity group in Canada that knits, crochets, and quilts for adults, children and babies in crisis. Items are donated to hospitals, women's shelters, homeless shelters and young mothers at risk.

Hugs For Homeless Animals-- Hugs for Homeless Animals is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to homeless and displaced animals worldwide. Do you love to crochet? knit? quilt? sew? If so, I would like to tell you about our Snuggle Project.

Warm Hearts~Warm Babies-- A Colorado based charity providing clothing and blankets to needy newborn and premature babies in Colorado.

Afghans Etc. For Charity-- At Afghns Etc. we crochet, knit and quilt for children living with cancer, lukemia, and other related childhood dieases. Or for children just in need of a little sunshine.

The KatRita Wood Project-- We are a non-profit, all volunteer organization formed in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita with the goal of salvaging wood from trees felled in both storms and using it to create art to raise money for the recover and rebuilding of the Gulf Coast Region.

Heartmade Blessings-- Heartmade Blessings is a not-for-profit, world-wide group of volunteers dedicated to providing hand-crafted items to those people suffering a loss, tragedy, or going through a rough time that need to be reminded of the simple fact that people care.

Touching Little Lives-- Ohio based charity that provides necessity items for needy newborn and premature infants in Ohio. Free sewing, knitting, and crocheting patterns available.

Binky Patrol-- Nonprofit group distributing handmade blankets to children who are ill, abused, or suffering from trauma or loss.

SandiAngels-- A charity created in memory of my daughter, dedicated to help premature & full-term babies & their families. We donate hand-made baby items for all those in need, but specifically, burial outfits & keepsakes of all sizes to hospitals & shelters.

Warming Families-- Warming Families is an Internet-based project. It is designed to get people involved in helping provide needed blankets/afghans and other warm items (hats, mittens, scarves, teddy bears & dolls) for homeless shelters and domestic violence shelters.

afghans for Afghans-- afghans for Afghans is a humanitarian and educational people-to-people project that is sending hand-knit and crocheted blankets, hats, mittens, socks, sweaters, and vests to the beleaguered people of Afghanistan.

Angels for Hope-- Angels for Hope crochet angels, butterflies and smiley faces and all are available free of charge. Smiley faces for sick/cancer children. We crochet for cancer, dying, hospice, depression, disease and caregivers - anyone in need of hope or a smile.

Stitch for a Cause-- Stitch for a Cause is a community service project at Kentucky Country Day School in Louisville, Kentucky. The group knits, crochets, sews, and quilts baby blankets and apparel for several local children's agencies.

Shawl Ministry-- Whether they are called: "Prayer Shawls", "Comfort Shawls", "Peace Shawls" or "Mantles" just to name a few; the knitter begins each shawl with prayers and blessings for the recipient. Shawl making instructions are provided for knit or crochet.

Sewing Charity-- Directory of all charitable sewing, knitting, crochet, and quilting projects.

Bundles of Love-- Bundles of Love is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that helps infants and their families by providing clothing, bedding and necessities; burial garments and keepsakes; and teaching expectants mothers to sew.

Hats 4 the Homeless-- Hats 4 the Homeless collects and distributes new and handmade hats, gloves, socks, and scarves.
